With CHARLES LAVOIE
For some of us, we've been using Photoshop since the mid 90's and version 3.0 and floppy disks. Now in its 12th release, Photoshop CS5, the legendary image-editing program has retained its streamlined interface and overall look and made huge additions in functionality and power. Without a doubt, Photoshop is the gold standard app for graphics and photography professionals, and used by countless artists, businesses, and groups that operate in every known activity.
Who should take this class?Photographers and other visual artists, as well as weekend shooters and people who want to know how to "photoshop" their faces onto their friends' faces.
What you will learn
As a photographer, you'll need to be able to sort through the many features that will help make your photos better, without getting bogged down by the less relevant stuff. We've custom-designed this course to provide a practical guide to Photoshop that's specifically engineered for photographers.
Move beyond the filters panel and learn everything from making basic tonal adjustments to creating surreal multi-layer imagery. Try your hand at retouching for portraits and fashion.
